Clinical Supervisor Early Intervention Services

Working collaboratively with members of ECS classrooms and clinical teams provides advice, guidance, training, and supervision to members of the therapy team.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the clinical direction of the therapy team within Foothills Creative Beginnings, working collaboratively with the Early Intervention team to support agency objectives, and provide support to therapists and therapy aides.

Position Requirements:

• Completion of a master’s degree in identified therapy. Preference is given to speech/language pathologist candidates.
• Registered member, in good standing, of the required provincial therapy regulatory body.
• Ability to manage time as demonstrated by timely updates to working documents, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
• Current Alberta driver’s license. Must have access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful experience working with neurodiverse, preschool-aged children.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with community partners, families, and staff.
• Clearance from a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector check

This is an office-based position working from Foothills Creative Beginning’s NE Calgary location. This position will have flexibility to allow for some remote work. It will involve travel in Calgary and surrounding areas. This is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month position.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Early Intervention Services

Currently, FCB is looking to have Occupational Therapists join our Early Intervention (EI) team and support children at various partner locations in Calgary and the Area.
Working with an Early Learning Coordinator (ELC) the OT is responsible for managing a caseload of children with diverse developmental needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Member in good standing & registered to practice with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
• Current professional liability insurance
• Minimum of three years of experience, working with preschool-aged children
• Experience working with children with complex needs and/or with difficult behaviours
• Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance (2 million)
• A current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

• Minimum of three years of experience, working with preschool-aged children
• Experience working with children with complex needs and/or with difficult behaviours
