I’m Airi Hayashi and I am very excited to be joining the Preschool team

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved working with young children. I turned it into a passion, then a career upon completing my diploma in early childhood education. I was an early childhood educator for several years before becoming an educational aid in the special education field since 2017. I am an advocate for inclusive education, cultivating a diverse, safe, and fun learning environment for the children. I promise to create a classroom where compassion and acceptance will be valued, and each child will be respected for their individual uniqueness.

I have a passion for the outdoors and everything nature. In the summer I love to hike, camp, and go paddleboarding. In the winter I am an avid snowboarder and skier, who enjoys spending time in the mountains. I love travelling and exploring the world, learning about other cultures, languages, traditions, and culinary experiences.

My name is Sarah O’Leary and I am excited to be co-teaching the Preschool program with Foothills Creative Beginnings this year. I have always had a passion for working with young children who have exceptionaltities. I believe that early childhood is a crucial stage in their development. The opportunity to be a part of their growth and provide a safe and nurturing environment is incredibly rewarding.  I have over 14 years of experience in the early childhood education field. I am a mum to three wonderful adult children who have flown the nest. I now occupy my time with my two furry best friends which are dogs of course no offense to cat lovers. I believe I am a very creative individual who happens to enjoy photography, hiking, reading and learning about history. I look  forward to working with your little ones this upcoming school year.
