I am a mother and grandmother.

I have been an educator for 30+ years and was a school and district principal for more than 20 years. Before moving into K-12 education, I was an early childhood educator and worked in childcare, preschools and as an education assistant.

I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Arts with a focus in educational leadership. I am an Alberta certificated teacher and educational leader.

I choose to work at Foothills Creative Beginnings because I know we can make the greatest impact on a child’s development and success in school and life by supporting them in the early years.

It is so rewarding to see the growth children make at this important time in their learning journey.

What’s your favourite way to play?
As a child, my favourite thing to play was school – especially if I was the teacher! Now, I enjoy playing board and card games with family and friends.

Fun fact: I consider myself a native Calgarian.
