I’m Michelle Decaire, and I’m proud to be the Director of Education and Early Intervention at Foothills Creative Beginnings. I hold a B.A. in Psychology, a B.Ed. in Elementary Education, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. I joined FCB in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience teaching preschool and kindergarten, along with a passion for high-quality, inclusive early learning.
My background as a classroom teacher and instructional leader shaped my commitment to creating playful, nurturing learning environments that prioritize connection and belonging.

I believe early intervention can lay the foundation for a child’s life. By identifying and supporting developmental needs early, we can nurture each child’s unique strengths, build their confidence, and set them on a path for meaningful and lasting growth.

Outside of FCB, I am a Mom to two incredible young children who bring me immense joy. In my personal time I enjoy curling up with a good book, baking, and spending time outdoors enjoying Calgary’s beautiful seasons!
