For as long as I can remember, I knew that working with children and families was my direction and passion. A lifelong learner, I hold a degree in Human Services Administration from Grant MacEwan University, Child and Youth Care certification, Educational Assistant diploma and an Early Childhood Education diploma.

Joining FCB in 2020 as executive director was a wonderful connection between early childhood education and leadership. We place children at the centre of all we do as an organization, and work with a team that is fully committed to our work. FCB looks to learn, grow as an organization, which allows for me as an individual to also grow and learn.

FCB has allowed for me to be a leader in a sector that I am passionate about and support children, families and our community.

What’s your favourite way to play?
This is a toss up between outdoor and dramatic play. Growing up I loved to be outside, in the woods or setting up school for all the children in the neighbourhood.

Fun fact: I never have matching socks. Life is too short to spend time matching your socks.
